Use this sun-loving giant as a garden focal point or to add height interest in back of a border, or plant several together to create a living privacy screen. Towering stalks up to 7' tall yield many crepe-textured, fully double flowers. The nectar of the violet, 3–5" blooms is ambrosia for butterflies, honeybees and hummingbirds. Because it’s juglone tolerant, this hollyhock is safe to plant near black walnut trees.
