This large, mound-forming hosta with colourful, variegated leaves is the deserving recipient of several awards. Robert Frost forms a dense clump of broad, coarse leaves that emerge in spring with a frosty bluegreen centre and creamy yellow to nearly white margins. In early to midsummer, it produces scapes up to 35" tall topped by loose clusters of nearly white, bellshaped blooms. Great as a ground cover in a shaded border or woodland garden, this hosta is also excellent in a foundation planting or container.
