Harlem Oriental Poppy

The extra large, reddish-purple flowers sport a very dark purple eye zone, intensely ruffled petals and the appearance of crinkled crepe paper! Enjoy Harlem's initial blooming period from late spring to early summer, and then its rebloom from late summer to early fall. Hummingbirds are big fans of the flowers, whose rich hues stand out in sunny garden beds and borders. The plant's fuzzy foliage stays attractive longer than that of most older varieties.
