Description
Grows up to 5' tall with beautiful, airy sprays of misty, deep pink flowers that bear a resemblance to astilbes. This colourful and impressive plant will thrive in moist areas and is perfect for watersides, although it also will do well in normal soils. Forms an upright habit. Foliage consists of dark green, 4-6" leaves that are lobed and incised. Deer resistant, very hardy and easy to grow. Spreads 36-48". Brings in the butterflies! Filipendula rubra 'Venusta Magnifica'
