Reaching skyward with golf ball-sized spherical blooms, this striking globe thistle cultivar commands attention through its silvery white flowers and architectural presence. The 2" spiky globes emerge atop sturdy silvery stems that rise 36–48" from a base of deeply cut, dark green foliage with distinctive grey undersides. Despite its thistle-like appearance, Star Frost's leaves are surprisingly soft with a downy texture.
